Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has made a victorious entry into the town of Eldoret despite a slur against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family on his ear.

In a procession led by hundreds of motorcyclists, singing songs in solidarity with the besieged MP, Sudi addressed the public on the streets of the town of Eldoret, disrupting traffic.

In the morning, the atmosphere was tense as people feared the rally would be interrupted by the police. However, news suggested that he had been given an hour to end the meeting, and the police patrolled the streets in full battle gear.

"We will not be intimidated, but we will continue to campaign for a just society where all Kenyans are treated fairly. The NCIC should not be selective in summoning those regarded as hate mongers," he said, followed by a host of MCAs.

He reported last night that many policemen had been sent to his house.

"Don't harass the police by sending hundreds of them to pick me up. Only a phone call to your office is enough," he said before the meeting ended.
