The Federal Republic of Somalia, a sovereign country located in the Horn of Africa now boasts of a fully functional national theatre after the theatre was officially reopened after undergoing refurbishment.

The refurbishment was funded by certain renowned businesses, the contributions by civilian workers, and the chamber commerce. The official reopening was made to overlap with the country’s 60th Independence Day, celebrated by President Mohamed Abdullahi and well other top government officials, all in attendance.

President Mohamed Abdullahi in the midst of a sizable audience took the initiative to cut the ribbon to mark the reopening of the national theatre. According to reports, the President successfully cut the ribbons to recently renovated Police Command Headquarters, Ministry of information and culture, and tourism buildings.

Several Somalia citizens wasted no time to jubilate, seeing the facility restored to a more refreshing state and made fully functional. The National Theatre is observed as a center that showcases the country rich culture and traditions.
