The Ghanaian government has eaten a humble piece of the pie, following the unforeseen attack on the Nigerian high commission in Accra, leaving several apartments of the embassy aggressively pulled down by aggrieved protesters.


On Tuesday, June 23rd, President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo speaking with President Muhammadu Buhari, says “the country deeply regretted the startling action capable of harming the sisterhood bond between both countries”.

 


The president of Ghana, described the development as regrettable and unfortunate, assuring the individuals behind the demolition, will be brought to book and face prosecution.


Speaking with his Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari, Nana Akufo-Addo, assured the president that the culprits will face the music of the law. According to Akufo-Addo, proper investigation is underway, to unravel the precise cause of the unfortunate incident. “We express our most sincere apologies for the unlawful demolition of the building on the Nigerian High Commission in Accra, Ghana premises.

 

Nigerians have brought to the attention of the federal government to close down the commission.
