Aella Credit, a Nigerian based fintech start up has expressed its preparedness to provide healthcare cover for over 500,000 Nigerians in 2020 with its 30-day N800, 000 worth of quality health insurance on offer the moment they sign up on its Aella app.

The tech company recently rolled out a health insurance scheme it calls Aella Care, in partnership with Hygeia, a leading HMO in Nigeria. Aella Credit’s move is geared towards supporting the Federal Government’s drive in pushing health insurance in the country, and it has promised to make its offer very attractive in order to get more people on board. Paid customers as well as new subscribers will gain  access to general consultation, pharmacy benefits, antenatal care and delivery services, accidents, emergencies, dental care, surgeries, to name a few, for 30 days, free of charge. Aella Care app also affords it’s users a super-fast avenue to their health assurance, access to loans, and bill payments.

Aella Credit’s partnership with Hygeia has so far eased much of the fears among Nigerians since its launch with regards to access and pricing on the platform, as it is said to have so far registered a high number of traffic within its pilot week.
