One of Nigeria’s foremost commercial banks, FirstBank of Nigeria Limited has taken giant steps to close the current gap in children’s education in Nigeria due to the impact of Covid-19

The pandemic like in many other parts of the world has also led to the closure of schools in Nigeria, which prompted the commercial bank, in partnership with Roducate and the Lagos State Government to roll-out free e-learning solutions. The learning platform is built in line with the governments accredited curriculum for primary, secondary and tertiary schools, and cuts across various academic fields such as arts, science, and commercial studies. It also includes tutorial videos to aid learning engagements, assignments and mock exams to test the students’ level of progression while studying.

In addition, the platform is also built with some other features such as podcasts and games for students to play with each other as a way of promoting interactive learning, all in the aim of making it fun and exciting for its users.
